The beginning

It began with a parcel I received in the post.  A badly wrapped number of items that contained a map, a small fragment of a purple stone, and a translation of an Arabic news article about an explosion outside of Morocco.  My college (insert name) whom I heard had died in an accident had mailed this parcel just before his death.

I am settling things here, and will be leaving for Morocco on the next ship.
